Resource Limits

Understand the Spookhost Resource Limits clearly to avoid suspensions and ensure a hassle-free experience.

Spookhost Spaces

Each Spookhost user can create up to 3 Spaces. Spaces are different from your Client Portal Profile. Different Spaces' Limits are calculated separately.

Addon Domains, Subdomains, Parked Domains

Every Spookhost user are allowed to host in a total of Unlimited websites and domains. This allows you to create as many websites as you want. However, please note that Subdomains has a limit of 50 per hosting account. (You can have up to 150 subdomains)

MySQL Databases

We provide 400 MySQL Databases for each hosting account. (You can have up to 1200 Databases)

Disk Space

We provide 5120MB for each hosting account. Note that we limit each file to have a max size of 10MB and we has a inode limit.

Inodes

In computing, an inode is a data structure on a traditional Unix-style file system such as UFS. An inode stores basic information about a regular file, directory, or other file system object.

Spookhost Free Hosting Plans allow 80000 inodes per Hosting Account

Bandwidth

We do not have a strict bandwidth limit, meaning your site will load as fast as our server can handle, but we do have a 100GB Monthly Bandwidth Limit per Hosting Account

Hits

1 Daily Hit ≠ 1 Visitor.

Hits are counted as File Requests. Means if you have an index.html file with 1 css and 1 JavaScript Assets linked inside, when a guest visits the index.html file, 3 Daily Hits will be used (1 for index.html, 1 for css and 1 for JavaScript).

We provide 50000 Daily Hits per Hosting Account.

In addition, we only provide 800,000 Monthly Hits.

PHP Limits

PHP memory_limit is 512M

PHP max_file_size is 20MB

PHP max_execution_time is 60 seconds

Cron Jobs

Cron jobs are not supported on Free Hosting.
