Managing DNS Records on Spookhost-NS domains

Spookhost supports custom DNS records for domains that are using Spookhost's nameservers. This allows you to manage your domain's DNS settings directly from the Spookhost control panel.

Managing CNAME Records

  1. Login to your Spookhost control panel
  2. Navigate to the "CNAME Records" section.
  3. Input your CNAME details to add them
  4. Remove CNAME records by clicking the "Delete" button next to the record you want to remove.

    You cannot edit a CNAME record, please delete it and add a new one.

Managing MX Records

Free subdomains do not support MX records, please use a custom domain if you need to add MX records.

  1. Login to your Spookhost control panel
  2. Navigate to the "MX Entry" section.
  3. Input your MX details to add them
  4. Remove MX records by clicking the "Delete" button next to the record you want toremove.

    You cannot edit a MX record, please delete it and add a new one.

Managing SPF Records

Free subdomains do not support SPF records, please use a custom domain if you need to add SPF records.

We do not support manging other DNS records at this time. If you need to manage other DNS records, please use a custom domain and use your own DNS provider.
